I chose this class because I’ve always had an interest in film and production. Throughout this course I would like to gain more skills in filming videos and editing with advanced resources. Overall, I hope to become a better filmmaker and editor.

Review of a few Camera Angles in the movie Carrie (1976)
Carrie (1976 Film) Produced by Paul Monash and adapted from Stephen King's novel I chose to comment on a few of the camera angles in the 1976 movie "Carrie" because I personally find old movies entertaining/fascinating. I find the themes, the acting, and the production of old movies interesting. Carrie was the first old movie that stuck with me for having the strangest theme, funniest acting, and the oddest production. I thought Carrie would be perfect for this assignment because it has many shots that provoke different emotions. I could also watch Carrie a million times so having an excuse to watch it again was pretty good too. This is the iconic "Plug it up" scene which I would consider a choker shot. Week 2: 12 film shots
EXTREME CLOSE-UP : This shot shows the small details of the subjects eye. This was by far the easiest shot to film CLOSE SHOT : This shot shows the subject from waist up EYE LEVEL SHOT : This shot displays the subject at eye level LONG SHOT : This shot shows the subject from head to toe. This was one of the harder shots because it was difficult getting the subject's entire body in the frame HEAD-ON SHOT : In this shot, the subjects projected towards the camera DOLLY : In this shot, the camera moved down the sidewalk. This shot was hard to accomplish because I didn't have a stabilizer or glider. To keep the camera somewhat stable, I tried to use my arm/elbow.
