Filming Part 1
We began our filming process with the stocking scenes. We decided that these scenes would take place at Miguel's house to help with the natural look of him going about his daily activities. In the pictures above, you can see the window we used to film the victim in a particular scene. Because we shot these scenes at night we had minimal lighting which helped create a mysterious/creepy tone to this film. This particular scene was shot with a handheld video camera.
The next scenes we filmed were the kidnapping scenes. The specific scence above was shot with my phone, located in Miguel's trunk, and required many props. Because this shot took place in Miguel's trunk there was not much lighting. We tried to shoot the scene from many different angles, but Miguel's face and the props were not able to be seen. Our solution to this problem was to have Woody use two phone flashlights to provide light for the scene while I filmed and Miguel and maria acted.
