Storyboarding
A storyboard is meant to outline the flow of a film, the angles that need to be captured, and explanations of each scene. In this case, our storyboard outlines the flow of our movie opening. It states the camera angles that will be used; for instance, follow shots, full shots, over the shoulder shots, close-up shots, cameo/eye-level shots, and low angle/chocker shots. Our storyboard also explains what exactly is happening in each scene. For example in scene 2, it explains that Miguel (the victim) will be browsing the web and he will get a notification by a random person.
Our storyboard will be a HUGE help to our group in the filming and editing process. Along with the setup of our film as it shows us what type of props will be needed for each scene
In the process of making the storyboard, Maria, Woody, and I helped by drawing the scenes. Miguel helped by coming up with specific costumes, props, and angles that would best work for each scene. While Woody physically wrote the explanations for each scene, Maria, Miguel, and I contributed our ideas and suggestions.
