Storyboarding

Image
A storyboard is meant to outline the flow of a film, the angles that need to be captured, and explanations of each scene. In this case, our storyboard outlines the flow of our movie opening. It states the camera angles that will be used; for instance, follow shots, full shots, over the shoulder shots, close-up shots, cameo/eye-level shots, and low angle/chocker shots. Our storyboard also explains what exactly is happening in each scene. For example in scene 2, it explains that Miguel (the victim) will be browsing the web and he will get a notification by a random person. Brainstorming

RISE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9AKdUT8nyg&feature=youtu.be The camera angles fit perfectly with the large amount of physical activity that was portrayed, you can really tell that they carefully picked out each angle and took their time with each shot. The music also fits the opening very well as it was very upbeat and energetic, It was also dimed at the right moments and was never too overpowering. The closeups of the characters at the end was a great way to end with suspense. OFFLINE: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12JR0FpGIpYlH4Mol6OUnwVFk7NnB4Tj_/view The way the production’s names were presented was very creative. The bouncing back and forth from the cage and the daily actives was a great way to show the massive differences between the two tones. A back screen or even a pause before the shaking or the cage could have helped dramatized the ending. Inspiration for our Genre

My group decided on action/ adventure for the genre of the film opening that we will soon produce. In this blog post, I will be discussing the general rundown of what our genre is, why our group agreed on this film genre and my personal opinion about our topic. I will also be including examples of movies that helped come to this choice. Action/Adventure films are exciting stories, with new experiences or exotic locales. They are designed to provide an action-filled, energetic experience for the film viewer to live vicariously through the travels, conquests, explorations, creation of empires, struggles and situations that confront the main characters, actual historical figures or protagonists. The two genres separately are very different and each attracts the viewers to watch more. This had a huge impact on the reason we picked these genres. We first wanted to pick just one of these genres, but after tons of picking and prying, we decided that our best option was to combine them both as...
